About

Hi, my name is Kristie.

Journaling Transforms Faith

As a teenager I was very depressed, but journaling transformed my faith I could pour my heart onto paper knowing that God heard my cry. It’s my sacred space to write prayers to God and listen for His responses. Even in hard times, it has helped me see the beauty in small things and develop a heart of gratitude. It’s also where I express my creativity through words and art. I write and illustrate everything you see on these pages.

My passion for combining words and art led me to study Fine Art and Creative Writing, but my real education in journaling started when I was ten years old. My journal has often felt like a best friend—a safe place to share secrets until I’m ready to let them out.

When I write about a trip while I’m on it or just after, rereading it later brings all the moments flooding back. It also helps me process tough experiences while I’m going through them. This isn’t just my experience. If journaling to God could do this for me, imagine what it can do for you. The amazing thing about journaling is that there’s no right way to do it.
